The more work you do in Podio, the more you can automate it. Workflows is a feature that can take away the manual, repetitive stuff involved in organizing your work.
Workflows is based on "if this, then that" logic. For example:
- If you create a new item, then workflows can create a related task for you
- If an item is updated, then workflows can add a comment to mention you asking for your input
In our Help Centre you'll find a video tutorial and guide to creating your own basic workflows.
With advanced workflows on Podio Plus and Premium you can go a lot further.
They'll enable you to get more detailed and pick specific actions that will trigger workflows, e.g. change the status of a project to "In progress" and advanced workflows will create a set of deliverables related to the project.
